Broadway Tickets

Broadway is buzzing after its highest-grossing season in history, and Broadway's repertoire of shows has never been more diverse and exiting. Fans of musicals have a wide lineup of musicals to select from, including top-sellers Kinky Boots and Matilda, whose casts are studded with Hollywood stars. The folk-indie musical Once proved to be the star of the 2012 Tony Awards, nabbing eight, and the riotously funny Book of Mormon, from South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, is still going strong after its nine 2011 Tony wins as well. For some good, old-fashioned Disney fun, check out Broadway's spirited Newsies, which has received rave reviews. However, the most talked-about Broadway show is Hamilton. This unique Broadway show incorporates hip-hop, cast diversity, and many other innovative theatrical skills that make the show continuously popular and highly-demanding since its opening.

Clearly, there are a bunch of great new Broadway shows, but don't forget about the tried-and-true staples of Broadway, including the magical Wicked, the story of the witches of Oz before Dorothy came to town; the nostalgic Jersey Boys, about the rise and fall of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons; the hummable Mamma Mia!, featuring the songs of ABBA; the dramatic Phantom of the Opera, about a mysterious, deformed man's relationship with a beautiful, young ingénue; and the spicy Chicago, about femmes fatales trying to get away with murder. For some family-friendly hits, try The Lion King, adapted from the iconic Disney movie about a young lion cub growing into his destiny and saving his people. For a rockin' time, try the perennial hit jukebox musical Rock of Ages.

If you've already seen everything you care to see on Broadway, take a peek at what Off-Broadway has to offer. Think of it as Broadway’s indie alternative, featuring leagues of talent looking to prove they can put on a show just as spectacular. Off-Broadway shows are often edgier and more experimental, perfect for the theater buff and the curious patron.
