About Jason Aldean

Independent, country, crossover recording artist Jason Aldean is writing his own story. Born in Macon, Georgia, Aldean was playing in the house band at the local bar at age 15. Since his self-titled debut album and hit singles "Why" and "Amarillo Sky," Jason Aldean has been winning over the hearts and minds of fans from the beginning.

Jason Aldean began pursuing a music career immediately following high school, landing small gigs in college towns. Aldean privately recorded a small album in the late 90s to sell at his shows, and was discovered by Michael Knox thereafter and signed with Warner-Chapell Publishing, which landed him in Nashville. Without much progress on the label, Jason Aldean was spotted by Broken Bow Records, and the release of his debut self-titled album followed in 2005. Aldean continued to produce new music, and by 2009, his album, Wide Open, yielded three No. 1 singles, "She's Country," "The Truth," and "Big Green Tractor."

By 2010, Aldean released My Kind of Party, which had additional success. Aldean's duet with Kelly Clarkson, "Don' You Wanna Stay," his rap and country compilation "Dirt Road Anthem," and hit track "Fly Over States" all reached No. 1, and it didn't stop there. Jason Aldean continued to deliver new material for his fans, releasing Night Train in 2012, and climbed to the top of the country charts once again with the single, "The Only Way I Know." Since then, he released Old Boots, New Dirt in 2014 and They Don't Know in 2016.
