2017 Miami Heat Schedule
Check out Miami Heat's 2017 schedule, and get your Heat tickets today!
Founded in 1988, the Miami Heat are still one of the newest teams playing in the NBA. Though the Heat haven't even been in existence for 30 years yet, Miami is quite accomplished, appearing in four NBA Finals, winning three.
Miami Heat's general manager Pat Riley has played a major role in Miami's ascension to the NBA's elite teams. Once owner Micky Arison purchased the Heat in 1995, Riley was brought in to serve as Miami's head coach in president. Riley eventually led the Heat to the 2006 NBA Finals and guided the Heat to their first-ever NBA championship. Riley stepped down as head coach in 2008, naming Erik Spoelstra as head coach, but remained as Miami's general manager. The architect of now three NBA championship teams, Pat Riley is a revered figure in Miami. After Lebron James's stint on the Heat and Dwayne Wade's departure to the Chicago Bulls, the Heat are in a critical rebuilding point. Chris Bosh's injuries are also suffering the team's potential, but the Heat has proven they are anything but predictable or an easy opponent.
