About the Show:
Born Yesterday, written by Garson Kanin, was originally staged at Broadway's Lyceum Theater, where it enjoyed rave reviews and a considerable run of over 1,600 performances. It was so successful that it transferred to the larger Henry Miller's Theatre, where it played until December of 1950. The show was revived in 1989 with a notable cast including Edward Asner as Harry and Madeline Kahn as Billie Dawn, and a film adaptation was released in 1993, starring John Goodman and Melanie Griffith. The clever and hilarious writing make it a timeless show that has kept audiences laughing for years, and the most recent revival starring Jim Belushi was no exception. Relative newcomer Nina Arianda, who played Billie Dawn, wowed critics with her comic performance. Get your Born Yesterday tickets today for a night filled with laughter.
