Established in 1901, the Oakland Athletics have a rich history -- one that has roots in two different cities as well! The A's called Philadelphia home between 1901-54, before moving to Kansas City in 1955. The A's then moved to Oakland in 1968.

Oakland has won nine World Series titles -- third most in baseball history behind the Yankees (27) and Cardinals (11). The A's have also captured 15 American League pennants!

With so much success, it's no surprise that the A's have had some of baseball's> best players. Reggie Jackson, Rickey Henderson, Catfish Hunter and Dennis Eckersley have all donned the Oakland green and gold!

One of the oldest teams in Major League history, the Atlanta Braves were established in 1871, but were known as the Boston Red Stockings. The Red Stockings eventually became the Boston Braves, and moved to Milwaukee to become the Milwaukee Braves -- before moving to Atlanta in 1966.

The Braves have captured the World Series title three times in their rich history (1914, 1957 and 1995), as well as seven National League pennants. The Braves are perhaps most known in recent times for winning 11 straight National League East titles between 1995 and 2005.
