About Lindsey Stirling
Lindsey Stirling is a violist and dancer who grew to fame when she was on season five of America's Got Talent in 2010. At 23, her hip-hop and pop violinist style was more mainstream than a normal violist's. Therefore, she catered to a wider audience in her music. She also incorporates dancing into her violinist pieces that is a huge tour enhancement. After she was rejected from America's Got Talent near the finale, she began to build out her brand on YouTube. Her collaborations and samplings are extensive and continue to range in genre.
In 2013, she signed to manager Troy Carter, who works for Lady Gaga. Her debut self-titled album was re-released in 2013. Her second album Shatter Me dropped in 2014. In 2015, Stirling was featured in Forbes' iconic "30 Under 30" list. Her third album Brave Enough dropped in 2016. She is going to compete on Season 25 of Dancing With the Stars as well as releasing a new album Warmer in the Winter in October 2017.
