Pink Tour Schedule
Pink is scheduled for only a few shows in 2017; don't be the fan that misses out! However, this might lead to more shows and maybe a new album, as she dropped a single with Sia.
Not many people can pull off the style, charm, talent and hardcore attitude that Pink has. Born Alecia Moore of Doylestown, PA, Pink always had the dream of becoming a singer. When she hit high school, Pink joined her first band - Middleground. The band was a local hit but broke up after losing a talent competition. This would prove to be a blessing in disguise for Pink who later joined the Atlanta-based R & B group Choice. The group was short lived, however LaFace records signed her as a solo act soon after.
Pink concert tickets were available for opening acts with groups like N'Sync and Lenny Kravitz after her first studio release Can't Take Me Home- her most R & B oriented album to date. At first people buying tickets for Pink concerts expected a typical pop act but when they heard the strength of Pink's contralto range, Pink tickets became the hottest thing on the market! Her first charting single "There You Go," showcased a fuchsia-topped Pink getting revenge on her ex- the album hit the number 2 spot on US charts.
When Pink tickets went on sale after the release of her second and biggest selling album Missundaztood, Pink proved that her range went far beyond R & B. With hits like "Get This Party Started," "Don't Let Me Get Me" and "Just Like a Pill" exhibited more soulful and playful pop sounds. Although Pink concert tickets generally sold out for Pink, Pink's next two albums Try This and I'm Not Dead received positive reviews from critics but sold less than their predecessors.
Having released her fifth studio album Funhouse in 2008, the album has be certified platinum and her emotionally-charged "So What" and deeply introspective "Sober" have become US Top 20 hits proving that Pink has much more than staying power. To showcase Pink's new impassioned music, Pink's sixth album The Truth About Love continued to lay on the hits such as "Just Give Me A Reason." Though Pink has not released any new solo albums since 2012, she is now in a folk duo group with Dallas Green, and they released their first album Rose Ave. in 2014. She also had a hit single in "Just Like Fire" from the movie soundtrack to Alice and the Looking Glass, bringing her back to her familiar spot on the radio. In addition, she featured on Kenny Chesney's hit single "Setting the World on Fire," in 2016.
