Dead and Company Tour Schedule
Dead & Company (Dead & Co.) is going on a summer 2017 tour from May to July, hitting venues such as Wrigley Field, Fenway Park, MGM Grand Garden Arena, and KeyBank Pavilion. This will be the band's third tour since forming back in 2015. The eclectic, talented group of musicians have been received extremely well on tour, and it doesn't look like the band is slowing down anytime soon.
About Dead and Company
Dead & Company was formed in 2015 and consists of former Grateful Dead members Mickey Hart (drums), Bill Kreutzmann (drums), and Bob Weir (guitar). The group also includes multiple Grammy Award winning artist John Mayer (guitar), as well as former Allman Brothers Band member Oteil Burbridge (bass/drums) and Ratdog member Jeff Chimenti (keyboards).
Following the Grateful Dead's "Fare Thee Well Tour" in the summer of 2015, the six artists announced they would be performing together as Dead & Company for shows moving forward. The remaining living members of Grateful Dead joined up with other talented musicians, and the reception was immensely positive. Grateful Dead fans could experience the band's members in concert, and the non-Grateful Dead members of Dead & Co. could add their skills to the mix and be able to play with such icons. No album has been released by the band yet, as they mostly sing Grateful Dead songs. However, fans could potentially envision one in the future due to the consistent playing and touring efforts of the group.
