Metal has proved to be one of the biggest sub-genres of Heavy Rock, and Metallica is one of the so-called Big 4 of thrash metal, along with Anthrax, Megadeth, and Slayer, which is why Metallica tickets are selling like mad. Check out the Metallica tour dates above and place your order for some of the most intense metal in existence. Metallica concerts will totally rock your world!
The Metallica story is one fraught with tragedy, drama, and change. From their early days in LA to the giant European Metallica concert tours, Metallica tickets have not stopped selling well. Metallica has suffered splits, deaths, and lawsuits along the way, but nothing has prevented these guys from blasting out those big rock tunes like real stars. An early split, involving guitarist Dave Mustaine - who went on to form Megadeth - didn't deter these rockers. When Cliff Burton was crushed under their tour bus in a tragic accident in Sweden, Metallica decided to honor Burton's spirit by continuing as a band, and it has paid off. Metallica always bounces back, and the popularity of their concert tickets is a testament to that.
It had been years since their last album Death Magnetic dropped in 2008. Then, the band finally released a new album Hardwired... to Self-Destruct in 2016! Now, the band is back on tour for their "WorldWired 2017 Tour" this summer! Check out tickets to see them live!
