About Cole Swindell
Cole Swindell is making his appearance in the realm of country music, and he is taking his fans by storm. Fraternity brother of Luke Bryan at Georgia Southern University, Cole Swindell followed in his footsteps and left his Georgia hometown to pursue music in Nashville. Having only been in the country music scene for a short time, it didn’t take Swindell long to have a hit song and huge fan base under his belt.
Cole Swindell made a name for himself in country music with his songwriting. Swindell’s first involvement was with Luke Bryan, acquainted through the same Sigma Chi fraternity at Georgia Southern University. The two played shows together occasionally, and after relocating to Nashville, Cole Swindell got more involved with songwriting. Some of his early credits go to six of the songs on Luke Bryan’s album, Spring Break: Here to Party. Swindell also wrote material for Scotty McCreery, Chris Young, and Florida Georgia Line. Swindell caught the eye of Warner Nashville with his independent release of “Chillin’ It” in 2013, and he was signed by the end of the year, resulting with his single at No 1 on the Billboard Country charts. With a new opportunity in front of him, Cole Swindell released his debut, self-titled album in February 2014, which landed a record No 3 spot on the Billboard 200 for a debut album by a new country male artist, and No 2 on the Top Country Albums chart.
