It’s hard to be as "Fancy" as Iggy Azalea without seeing her on tour! Originally from Australia, hip hop artist Iggy Azalea came to the United States at the age of 16 to pursue her music career. Just a few years later, she gained heavy recognition for her hit songs "Work" and "Bounce", which really put her on the radar. Because of her early career success, Azalea became the first female rapper and non-American to be featured on XXL magazine’s annual Top 10 Freshman cover issue in 2012.
Iggy Azalea has collaborated with many artists, including pop stars Ariana Grande, Rita Ora, Charli XCX, and Mike Posner, as well as hip hop greats such as YG, B.o.B, Pusha T, Mavado, and of course her wingman, TI. She’s heavily influenced by her idols Missy Elliott and Tupac Shakur. "I was sickly obsessed. I had every picture of Tupac ever printed on my wall," she states. "As far as people whose style interested me I’d say Grace Kelly, Gwen, Spice Girls, Victoria Beckham, and that nanny called Fran."
