About the Show:

Based on the holiday classic film Elf, which memorably starred Will Ferrell, Zooey Deschanel, James Caan, Bob Newhart, Mary Steenburgen, and Ed Asner, Elf the Musical takes the beloved tale of Buddy the Elf and brings it to life on stage in a musical extravaganza. Featuring songs such as "Christmastown," "There is a Santa Claus," and "Sparklejollytwinklejingley," this show is a holiday treasure.

Elf first opened on Broadway on November 14, 2010, where it ran through the holiday season through January 2. The cast included Sebastian Arcelus (Jersey Boys, Good Vibrations) as Buddy, Beth Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone, Baby it's You!) as Emily, Mark Jacoby (Wicked, Sweeney Todd) as Walter, Amy Spanger (Rock of Ages, The Wedding Singer) as Jovie, and George Wendt (Hairspray, TV's Cheers) as Santa. In 2012, it was announced that Elf would tour the US for the holiday season as well as enjoy a revival on Broadway. Grab your Elf tickets today and partake in the holiday joy!

Plot Synopsis:

Young orphan William "Buddy" Hobbs accidentally wanders into Santa Claus' bag of toys and is brought to the North Pole. When he grows up, he learns that he is not an elf like his friends, but a human, so he travels to New York City to find his father. Unfortunately, Buddy does not find the same Christmas spirit in the city. His father, Walter, doesn't believe in the spirit of Christmas and his little brother, Michael, doesn't believe in Santa. Since Santa's sleigh is powered by people's belief in Christmas, the whole holiday is in jeopardy, and Buddy makes it his mission to save the day.
