About the show:

Priscilla Queen of the Desert is a stage adaptation of Australian film writer/director Stephan Elliot's 1994 motion picture, The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. The musical premiered in Australia in 2006, and has since had productions in New Zealand, London, Toronto, and, most recently, Broadway. It features an array of familiar dance and disco songs from artists like Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, and Donna Summer, and some of the most outrageous and elaborate costumes ever to hit the stage. With that combination, Priscilla Queen of the Desert tickets are tickets to fabulous!

Plot Synopsis:

Drag queen Mitzi Mitosis (aka Anthony "Tick" Belrose) lands a gig in the far-away town of Alice Springs, Australia. He convinces his friends, transsexual veteran performer Bernadette Bassenger and spunky newcomer to the drag scene Felicia Jollygoodfellow (aka Adam Whitely), to join him on a cross-country trip in a battered old tour bus named Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Along their journey across the Australian Outback, they meet many people, some of whom are not keen on their lifestyle, but their friendship remains the one thing that can carry them through.
