Deep Purple Tour Schedule

Deep Purple is going on tour with Alice Cooper from August to September 2017 in support of their new album Infinite. With special guest The Edgar Winter Band, see Deep Purple with Ticket Liquidator!

About Deep Purple

One of the hardest touring acts in the world, Deep Purple is back on the circuit, this time with a 41-piece string and horn section. The band insists that this isn’t an orchestral tour though. They’re simply doing what they do best, which is rock out, the orchestra is only there to add texture and flourish.

Aside from an eight-year hiatus from 1976 - 1984, and despite personnel drama, drugs, and an insane fan setting fire to a venue, the event which inspired "Smoke on the Water," Deep Purple has been rocking out since 1968. Even Russian President Dmitry Medvedev calls them his favorite band and has been a fan since age 12. The current Mark IV line-up of Ian Gillan, Steve Morse, Roger Glover, Ian Paice, and Don Airey are rumored to be working on a new album, the band’s 19th.

For a band that got their start opening for Cream and are credited along with contemporaries Led Zepplin and Black Sabbath for pioneering heavy metal, Deep Purple are one of the last of their breed still on tour.
