La Ley (Spanish for “The Law”) is a Grammy Award-winning and two time Latin Grammy Award-winning rock band from Chile that formed in 1987. The pop rock band has released eight studio albums, one live album, and one compilation album. They performed from 1987 through 2005, took a short hiatus, and reforming in 2014. They are best known for their breakout record, Invisible, which was released in 1995 and has provided La Ley with their best-selling studio album to date. The album includes the number one hits “Dia Cero” and “El Duelo.” Invisible is also considered by fans to be the band's best album. Their number one selling album of all time was the incredibly successful live album for MTV Unplugged, which was released in 2001 and won a Latin Grammy Award for Best Group in 2002. In 2004, the band won their second Latin Grammy Award for the album Libertad.
