Being invited to perform at Neil Young’s annual Bridge School Benefit concert is an honor for musicians and generally only the cream of the crop are allowed to play at this prestigious event.
Organized annually by Neil Young and his wife Pegi, Bridge School benefit tour dates have featured such musical luminaries as Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Jerry Garcia & Bob Weir, Elton John, Beck, Metallica, R.E.M., Paul McCartney, Nine Inch Nails, Josh Groban, Chris Martin and Thom Yorke among others. Proceeds from Bridge School Benefit tickets go to the Bridge School which helps children with severe disabilities and communication impairments.
Since the first Bridge School concert in 1986, Neil Young and friends have played to sold out audiences at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in beautiful Mountain View, California.
