About Steve Martin

Martin is an extremely talented comedian known for his movies like Cheaper By the Dozen and many more. With his recognizable white hair and goofy attitude, Martin always makes any audience laugh until their stomachs hurt.

Back in 2001, Steve played his prized banjo along with bluegrass hero Earl Scruggs, in Scruggs' remake of "Foggy Mountain Breakdown". Earl Scruggs tickets have always been huge sellers in the bluegrass world, but they surely received a boost when this star of Planes, Trains and Automobiles joined in the musical fray. Martin was honored when that song won a Grammy Award for Best Country Instrumental. Not bad for a blockbuster Hollywood comedian! The album, entitled The Crow: New Songs for the 5-String Banjo, is receiving great reviews, and is a surefire guarantee that this Steve Martin bluegrass tour will be a highlight for many bluegrass fans. Martin also accompanied the Steep Canyon Rangers on his beloved banjo on a broadcast of A Prairie Home Companion in 2009. Martin then released a live album titled Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Range featuring Edie Brickell Live in 2014. He can add musical talent to his extensive comedy and acting career. Martin really is a full package. Get tickets to see him perform live!
