About Jack White & The White Stripes

Jack White and his then-wife, Meg White, formed the White Stripes in 1997, taking on the public persona of siblings rather than spouses and dressing only in red, white, and black. The White Stripes consisted of only the two Whites; Meg infamously played drums, while Jack sang and alternated among various instruments, mostly guitar and bass. The White Stripes released six albums in total, perhaps none more popular than 2003's Elephant. "Seven Nation Army," the band's most well-known song, was the album's first single. The eccentric couple announced in 2011 that they would no longer record or perform music as the White Stripes, freeing up Jack White for other projects.

Solo Career

Riding on the success of the White Stripes, Jack White began collaborating with other musicians and even started his own record label, Third Man Records. He contributed to the Quantum of Solace soundtrack, writing the song, "Another Way to Die," for the 2008 James Bond film. In 2012, White released his debut solo album, Blunderbuss, which met with immediate critical success and gained several Grammy nominations. The self-produced album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, and topped the charts with the popular singles "Love Interruption" and "I'm Shakin.'" Jack White also provided the song "Love Is Blindness" for the 2013 re-make of The Great Gatsby. Jack White's sophomore solo album, Lazaretto, was released in 2014 with equal success.

His latest release, 2018's Boarding House Reach, leaves the listener wanting more. Luckily, you can get more because Jack White is on tour! Pick up your Jack White tickets today for a one-of-a-kind music event filled with high energy, impressive musicianship, and hearty fun.
