About Don Henley

One of the preeminent musicians whose career has survived intact over the four decades since the '70s, Don Henley has walked the long road from lead singer of a hit rock band to solo artist with an environmental or political cause (he has both!) to country music cover artist.

Don Henley is a veritable pop culture institution, the Kevin Bacon of music industry trivia. He sang back up for Linda Ronstadt with future songwriting partner Glenn Frey and sang lead on some of The Eagles' greatest hits, including the ubiquitous "Hotel California," "Desperado," "Life in the Fast Lane" and "Witchy Woman." Henley won six Grammys with The Eagles and one for his solo work, is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, dated Stevie Nicks, recorded duets with Reba McEntire and Kenny Rogers, and contributed a track to the Fast Times at Ridgemont High soundtrack. If Don Henley were an element he'd be carbon (because he's everywhere).

If he's learned anything over the years, it's how to move busloads of Don Henley tickets. Henley is one of the rare living legends whose solo output is as good as his band's. As if writing classic singles for The Eagles weren't enough, he also recorded the hit tracks "Boys of Summer," "The End of the Innocence," "Dirty Laundry," "The Last Worthless Evening," "New York Minute" and "All She Wants to Do Is Dance" for his own records. His country album features duets with Brooks and Dunn and country darling Alison Krauss. Since he dropped Cass Country in 2015, Henley has toured in support of the album.
