About Adam Lambert

Some people are just born to be in the spotlight, Adam Lambert just happens to be one of them! From theater prodigy to American Idol superstar, Adam Lambert is the ultimate pop rock performer and we've got Adam Lambert tickets right here! Lambert was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, to an interior designer and program manager before moving to California. By age 10, Adam was acting and singing regularly in school productions ranging from Grease to The Music Man. By age 19, Lambert had already traveled cross seas to tour with Anita Mann Productions and was part of the European cast of Hair. It is said that when Adam starred alongside Val Kilmer in The Ten Commandments: The Musical, he was the only one to receive rave reviews. Adam was also cast as the understudy part for Fiyero in the Broadway tour of Wicked.

Adam Lambert would work up the courage to try out for American Idol's eighth season in 2009 singing "Rock With You" and "Bohemian Rhapsody." At this point many viewers believed that Adam had a shot at winning American Idol. Citing Madonna, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin and Queen as influences, Adam Lambert went on and finished second to Kris Allen.

After American Idol, members of the band Queen were considering Lambert as a new frontman, but after the successful release of his debut album For Your Entertainment the budding star continued to develop his solo career. For Your Entertainment debuted on U.S. charts at number 3 and received 4.5/5 stars from Rolling Stone. Since then, he decided to be Queen's frontman in 2011, and he has toured with the band on multiple occasions. Lambert's latest tour with the band was a 2017 summer tour.
