UFC 143: Diaz vs. Condit tickets won't be easy to find now that the fight card is out. Prepare to see some of MMA's most determined fighters on this Super Bowl weekend UFC, including the headliner, Nick Diaz vs. Carlos Condit. Former Welterweight champ Diaz has a checkered history, including a brawl in the hospital with opponent Joe Riggs after a hard bout when the two were sent in for observation. He likes to taunt opponents, and following some defeats at the hands of said opponents, Diaz will be looking to reclaim his title. Originally scheduled to fight Georges St-Pierre (who was dropped due to an ACL injury), Diaz will now fight top ten ranking welterweight Carlos Condit. St-Pierre will be disappointed because he is one of the best athletes in the UFC, but Diaz is a confident tough guy, with massive stamina reserves. This is the man who swam from Alcatraz twice. He is a master at playing head games while rapidly wearing his opponent down, as he excels at the cardio game. Anyone who saw how Diaz beat up on BJ Penn won't be betting on Condit, but be ready to see some very rough action in this one. UFC 143 Vegas is already being considered the best UFC event of the year, and it's still January! There will also be a heavyweight bout between Roy Nelson and Fabricio Werdum. Nelson is famous for participating in the second most watched fight in UFC history, when he fought Kimbo Slice back in 2009. He is a man of many talents, having begun his MMA career as a Kung Fu trainee, later expanding his repertoire to include a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Nelson will be fighting in his hometown so expect to be caught up in a superb atmosphere at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. Werdum is no piece of cake, though. He's currently ranked #4 and #6 World Heavyweight by Sherdog and MMAWeekly respectively. Born in Porto Allegro, Brazil, Werdum moved moved to Spain as a teenager and taught Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, as his MMA career began to progress. Now he is a force to be reckoned with, and his fight against Nelson will be an absolute smasher. Another biggie on the main card is Josh Koscheck vs. American Mike Pierce, a welterweight bout, and Brazilian middleweight Rafael Natal will fight Dutchman Michael Kuiper. All in all, tickets to UFC 143 will be among the biggest bargains of 2012!
