Anaheim Ducks Schedule

Ducks Fast Facts
  • Established: 1993
  • Stanley Cup Championships: 2007
  • Captain: Ryan Getzlaf
  • Owner: Henry Samueli
  • Fun Fact: The team was originally named after a team in the Disney movie, The Mighty Ducks.

Formerly known as the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, the Anaheim Ducks were founded in 1993. The Ducks were known as the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim until 2006. Originally owned by the Walt Disney Company, the team changed its name to the Ducks after the sale of the team.

The Ducks won the Stanley Cup the very first season after dropping Mighty from the name, officially beginning a new era of hockey in Anaheim.

Since winning the Stanley Cup in 2007, the Ducks have been one of the better teams in the Western Conference, making four playoff appearances in the seven subsequent years after winning the Stanley Cup.

Now led by captain Ryan Getzlaf, the Ducks are among the Western Conference's elite teams. Be there in person to catch the intense hockey atmosphere -- check out the Ducks' schedule, and buy your Ducks tickets today!
