Can Iron Maiden fire The Boss?

March 21, 2012

With more than 1,000 voters weighing in, the Internet has spoken and you are more interested in seeing Iron Maiden than Bruce Springsteen this summer. This is a bit of a surprise as the Boss has been one of the biggest sellers on Ticket Liquidator for the past several years. But it appears the heavy metal fans out there are fired up to see Steve Harris and company finally hit the road in the U.S. Iron Maiden is well known for selling an incredible number of records with limited mainstream promotion, so seeing their dedicated fans take out the Boss is not as shocking as it might seem on the surface. Iron Maiden are going on one of the most extensive US tours in ages, and it looks like fans are eager to see them live.

Concert Madness 2012, Iron Maiden beats Bruce Springsteen

In today's matchup, rockers Coldplay take on Roger Waters and his The Wall tour in a battle that pits two of the biggest music acts to come ever come out of Britain against each other. Waters has been performing the complete performance of Pink Floyd's legendary album The Wall since 2010, but by looking at sales it seems his support is as passionate as ever. Along his 2012 Tour he's hitting up some interesting venues like Fenway Park, Wrigley Field and Yankee Stadium.

A newer performer when compared to Waters, Coldplay has nonetheless been one of the biggest bands in rock since they burst onto the scene with the hit-single Yellow in 2000. Both performers have a legion of fans who can't wait to see them live, so expect this to be another heated battle. Be sure to vote for who you would rather see live on the Ticket Liquidator Facebook Page.
