What is an account?

Your account is the information that we have about you as a customer and the orders you place with us. This allows you to more easily manage your information and orders. It is a completely free account with no cost to you, and all of your information is used solely for providing you great customer service.


Do I have to create an account to buy tickets through TL?

Yes, we do require customers to create an account before they purchase tickets through our website. Your account is an important place for storing order-related information about your current and past purchases. You can also use your account to contact your ticket seller and access delivery information for your order.


Why would I want an account?

We designed the account system to offer you these benefits. We hope you use your account to:

  • Save Time! Your account easily allows you to view and update all your order information online. It also makes future purchases easier as your information can be easily retrieved so you don’t have to type it in for future orders again and again… and again.

  • Save Money! Your account will give you access to special deals and promotions on ticket orders, which are only advertised to account members. A customer rewards system is also in development, which will be linked to customer accounts.

  • Stay Informed. Your account can be used to access all your purchase information online, track your shipments, and generally keep up to date with what is happening with any activity you have with TicketLiquidator.com.

  • Stay Safe. We know privacy and data security are vital to our customers, and have built the account system to meet these needs. Everything is still protected by our Privacy Policy and our 125% guarantee, so you can continue to shop worry free.

Does it cost money to have an account?

No. It is completely free to have an account on TicketLiquidator.com - no purchase is necessary.


Is my account information secure?

Absolutely! TicketLiquidator.com is checked daily by McAfee Security, follows best practices in internet security, and we are PCI Compliant. All information you provide to us is kept private in accordance with our privacy policy.

How do I create an account?

To create an account, just hit the Register link at the top of our website and fill in the necessary information. You will then receive a confirmation email for your new account -- easy!


I am trying to use an email address to create my account and I am being told I cannot do so. What can I do?

In some circumstances we have been asked to close an account or told that an email address should not be associated with any account on our system. These messages all come from the owners of the email addresses at issue. To protect the privacy and security of our users, in these situations we will ban these email addresses from our system so they cannot be used again in the future. In this situation, your only option is to use a different email address when creating your account.


Will my account allow me to sell tickets?

Right now, your Ticket Liquidator account only allows you to buy tickets. If you wish to sell tickets, you need a special seller’s account, available here. For now, you will have to use your main account for buying and your seller’s account for selling. We will be unifying this system very soon so you only need a single account… so stay tuned!


Help, I have forgotten my password. What can I do?

Don’t worry. To create a new password, just hit the Forgot Password link on the Sign In page. This will allow you to pick a new, easier-to-remember password..


Help, I have forgotten my user name. What can I do?

Don’t worry. Your user name is just your email address. If you cannot recall your password, just hit the Forgot Password link on the Sign In page.

Something about my account is not working for me. What should I do?

We are so sorry to hear you are having trouble with your account! Please email us to let us know about the problems you are experiencing. The more detail you can provide about any errors you are seeing, including which web browser (ex: Internet Explorer 8) and which operating system (ex: Windows 7) you are using, the easier it will be to track down the problem.


How can I close my account?

Since your account does not cost you anything and it will make it easier for you to look up your past business transactions with us, we would encourage you not to close your account. You cannot close your account while you have an open order through Ticket Liquidator. However, if you have no open orders with us and you do wish to close your account, you can do so by going to the My Profile page and hitting the Close My Account button at the bottom of that page.



Questions about My Purchases


How do I check the status of my purchases online?

To get information on a purchase, first sign in to your account. Once you are signed in, click on the My Purchases tab and you’ll see a list of all current and past purchases. Click on the order you are interested in to get more information and help regarding that order.


What is a Current Purchase versus a Past Purchase?

If the event you have purchased tickets for has already occurred, we call that a Past Purchase. If the event has not yet happened, we call that a Current Purchase. You can view all your purchases easily on the My Purchases page.


Am I able to track delivery information for orders?

Once your seller processes your order and creates a FedEx label for your package, you will be able to track your package on TicketLiquidator.com. To get started tracking, sign in to your account and navigate to the My Purchases page. Find the purchase you are interested in and click on the FedEx tracking number in the purchase details area to access a FedEx tracking page. Your package is actively being shipped when FedEx registers itself as having “picked up” your package.


What does the "status" description of a purchase mean?

When you place an order through us, the order is sent to the seller providing the tickets for confirmation. Orders are marked “Pending” if the seller has not confirmed the tickets are available. Orders are marked “Accepted” if the seller confirms the purchase and pledges to provide the tickets. Orders are marked “Rejected” if the seller is unable to fulfill the purchase concerned. (Ticket Liquidator will also contact you proactively in any such cases for help with placing a new order. Please feel free to contact us directly, though, if you have any questions in that regard.)


What should I do if I have a problem or question about my order?

If you have a question or concern with your order, begin by signing in to your account and go the My Purchases page. You then click on the purchase number for the purchase you are interested in to view the details for that order. In the details view, you can click on the Contact Seller button under your purchase information to contact your ticket seller. You will also find your seller’s direct contact information (phone and email) near the bottom of the purchase details view (where it says “Ticket Seller”). Please let Ticket Liquidator know at 1-800-456-8499 or customersupport@ticketliquidator.com if you have difficulty reaching your seller about a purchase or need any additional help.

How do I download e-tickets?

If you’ve purchased tickets that you need to download and print yourself, start by signing in to your account and visiting the My Purchases page. Click on the purchase you are interested in and you’ll see instructions at the top of the purchase details view as to what you need to do next. Please keep in mind that you will be asked to verify your credit card number to download your tickets, so you should have the credit card you placed the order with handy if you wish to download tickets.

Questions about My Profile


Who can see my profile?

Other than you, only our customer service employees are able to view your profile. We use this information to ensure that we are able to keep in contact with you and provide prompt and efficient service.


What is my profile used for?

Data in your profile is available for easy reuse when you place orders on our website in the future. So, by putting information in your profile, you avoid having to type that information every time you place an order.

Profile data also allows you to keep us informed if you have life changes, such as a change of address.


How can I update my profile information?

To update profile information, visit the My Profile page. From there, all you have to do is change the information shown for your profile and click the Update button!


If I change the address in My Profile, will my tickets be shipped to a different address?

No. If you wish to have your tickets shipped somewhere different from what you initially indicated in your order, you’d need to contact the seller associated with the purchase in question.

To contact your seller, sign in to your account and go the My Purchases page. You then click on the purchase number for the purchase you are interested in to view the details for that order. In the details view, you can click on the Contact Seller button under your purchase information to contact your ticket seller. You will also find your seller’s direct contact information (phone and email) near the bottom of the purchase details view (where it says “Ticket Seller”).
