About the Show

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is based on a novel by Mark Haddon. From the perspective of a fifteen-year-old boy with behavioral difficults, the story outlines a mystery that the boy tries to solve The mystery revolves around the death of the neighbor's dog that is blamed on him. He then becomes fascinated by the open case though his father warns him against putting his nose where it doesn't belong. This incident follows the death of his mother, Judy, two years prior. Christopher, the boy, records all of his discoveries in a book, as he meets many new people along the way of his journey. Though Christopher is limited by his fear and difficulties (the show never points to one diagnosis specifically), he branches outside his comfort zone while trying to solve the mystery. This mystery runs parallel to new information regarding his mother, and Christopher's life as he knows it will never be the same. Come solve The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time with Christopher, and see this beloved play when it comes to a theater near you!
