When people heard that Interpol tickets were back on sale for a 2011 Interpol trek, many didn't believe it. The New York post-punk icons with the dark edge are touring to support their latest, self-titled disc and that means Interpol live! The tour was initially fairly small, but it's been expanded and now encompasses every corner of the USA. When they return from England in late March, it's believed Interpol will take a short break before playing the aptly named Knitting Factory Concert House in Reno, Nevada, before continuing on play the Coachella Festival in Indio, California. There will be plenty of hipsters waiting to see Interpol live on their 2011 tour, so Interpol tour tickets will sell fast. Don't hesitate; this is one of the most sought-after concert tickets of the year. Interpol have often been associated with British acts like Joy Division and The Chameleons, and they certainly do belong among those other pioneers of things post-punk. Interpol have endured since their formation in 1997, through several personnel changes, and now they are back to bring their message to America.
Interpol offer a surreal and energized trip into a form of "metal machine music" that will stay with you. Band members have captured the essence of that special grey sound that knows neither limits or definition. You could almost be forgiven for thinking Interpol weren't American, but they are. Interpol tickets aren't about nations, or even this planet. Interpol tickets will take you into a private subterraneous perspective where anything is possible and the spirit of those dark wet worlds from which Ian Curtis and Mark Burgess emerged. When you hear Paul Banks singing "we have two hundred couches, where you can sleep tonight", in the song PDA, he paints scenes with words, strange scenes that haunt the mind. If you haven't yet checked the Interpol schedule you should do so right away. This is a band admired by many, and Interpol tickets are going to be very difficult to find. Check out our Interpol tour dates and be there to evoke the spirit of industrial machines, Ian Curtis, underworlds and the meaningful shadows in the words of this excellent band.
