First developed as a solo side project by Further Seems Forever's Chris Carraba, Dashboard Confessional became a model figure for modern emo and alt-rock in the early millennium - transforming from experimental independent endeavor to a staple among the scenesters of Generation Y. Dashboard Confessional was first developed when musician Chris Carraba, well known in his native CT and FL hometowns, needed an outlet. According to Carraba, "I was going through something really tough at the time and since I don't write in a journal, this is what I did with it. It was a good way to get it out of my system. I never thought anyone would hear these songs, but I played some for my friends and one of them who owned a little label talked me into recording." At that time, Carraba was unaware of the impact Dashboard Confessional would have on the scene - making Dashboard Confessional tickets a much sought after item at the time.

Further Seems Forever, which was put to rest in 2006, was an indie rock band linked to Strongarm, Vacant Andy, Affinity, Sense Field, Fields Forever and Action Reaction. Carraba joined the band as vocalist on their first album "The Moon is Down," before pursuing Dashboard full time. Ever since then, Dashboard Confessional has been blasted on the speakers of those looking for heart-crushing tales, a way to heal those scars and experience extreme emotion. Dashboard Confessional is more than an emo band, that label is so limiting! It's a testament to what heartbreak, angst and the need for an outlet can really do to provoke creativity and talent. Dashboard Confessional tickets offer those expressions live.

The current inception of Dashboard Confessional's touring band consists of Chris Carraba on guitar, piano and vocals, John Lefler on lead guitar, backing vocals and piano, Scott Shoenbeck on bass and backing vocals and Mike Marsh on drums and backing vocals. Dashboard Confessional first joined the ranks of bands like Texas is the Reason in the form of the "Swiss Army Romance," giving audiences a reason to sing along at Dashboard Confessional concerts. Back then, Dashboard confessional concert tickets always gave fans raw vocals and the strum of an acoustic guitar. Throughout the years, Chris and Dashboard developed a studio sound unmatched, retaining that organic sound.
