About the Boston Celtics

Founded in 1946, the Boston Celtics are one of the premiere franchises in the NBA -- and the most accomplished in the Association. Since its inception, Boston has won 17 NBA titles, including a run of 11 titles in 13 years -- and eight in a row. Winning is woven in the DNA of the Celtics -- and Celtics general manager Danny Ainge won't rest until the Celtics are once again one of the dominant forces in the Eastern Conference.

Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Ray Allen led the Celtics to their most-recent NBA title in 2008, when the Celtics won their first championship since 1986. Boston came close again in 2010 to capturing another title, but came up short, losing to the Los Angeles Lakers in seven games. Since then, the Celtics have opted to rebuild.

With a young roster, and a second-year head coach in Brad Stevens, the Celtics are attempting to set themselves up for a chance to win titles over an extended period of time.

Don't miss out on any of the Celtics action, as they try to transform into one of the NBA's elite teams once again! Get your Boston Celtics tickets today, and get out to the historic TD Garden this season!
