Reigning Series Champion Jeff Gibson is set to defend his title against the world's top motorcycle Racers this year in an exciting 12-race schedule across America, including events in 6 new US cities. The 12 races will draw enormous interest this year - as many are waiting to buy AMA Arenacross tickets for the 2010 schedule. The AMA Arenacross Series schedule will take its customary winding road towards the day when a new champion is announced in Denver, Colorado on March 27. We have a long way to go before then, though; beginning with what is known as the "prequel race" - the preliminary race in the run-in to the 2010 Arenacross schedule. The Arenacross prequel will take place at the Des Moines' Wells-Fargo Arena, but the first points race will be at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The six new cities hosting Arenacross in 2010 include Hampton, Virginia; Kansas City, Kansas; Youngstown, Ohio; Council Bluffs, Iowa and Denver, Colorado. This AMA Arenacross tickets rush may well be its biggest ever, as spectators scramble - no pun intended - to gain front-line viewing of what promises to be an intense contest. Many of the sport's top riders have been attracted back to the fray in 2010, and the Arenacross schedule is bursting with potentially wild races. When the 2010 Arenacross season opens in January 2010, they'll be taking no prisoners and looking to churn up some dirt under the lights.
Reigning champion Jeff Gibson is looking to defend his Arenacross championship in 2010. The crop of talented pretenders means Gibson is going to hard pushed, but he is confident of another triumph. The AMA Arenacross Series circuit is a tough one, though, and many big names will be looking to challenge Gibson's disciplined riding. This is the third Arenacross championship on the bounce for Gibson's Tuf Honda team, with three different bikers taking the helm in that time.
AMA racing is big these days. With huge numbers of Supercross tickets selling out for every Super Cross meet, it was only time before Arenacross emerged as Supercross's little brother. Arena Cross racing tickets are a supercharged way to see today's top scrambling bike champions up close and personal. Arenacross is the perfect solution for urban environments where a large number of AMA Motorcross fans are concentrated without the open space required for a full-blown Supercross meet. Supercross AMA is for the muddy ruts and space of the suburbs and countryside, but pack those dirt-bikes into a compact stadium in a city and you have the essence of AMA Arenacross. Arenacross tickets can be found right here, so scan the Arenacross schedule and choose your poison, city-dwellers. Dirt bike racing, whether it's mini dirt bike or 50cc dirt bike, or some crazed machine that kills overhangs and puts every other motocross dirt bike to shame, is always exciting. Picture the tightly wound track of Arenacross, with its banks and lagoons, as the dirt bike riding champions go to it. The view is tremendous and the atmosphere incredible. Buy Arenacross tickets today and experience the alternative to AMA Supercross tickets!
