About the Show:

Anything Goes is one of the most beloved shows in the musical theatre canon. Originally debuting in 1934 on Broadway, it has been revived several times and has been adapted to film twice. Audiences have been treated to amazing performances as stage greats Ethel Merman, Patti LuPone, Elaine Paige, and most recently Sutton Foster have taken on the iconic lead role of Reno Sweeney. With music and lyrics by the legendary Cole Porter, who also penned the hit musical Kiss Me, Kate, it features the now-standard songs "You're the Top," "I Get a Kick out of You," "It's De-lovely," and, of course, "Anything Goes." The epitome of a classic musical, this show has impressive tap numbers, campy humor, and hilarious plot twists. Check out the schedule today and get your Anything Goes tickets to witness a piece of Broadway history revived.

Plot Synopsis:

Set aboard the ocean liner S. S. American, Anything Goes follows Reno Sweeney, a nightclub singer/evangelist who is traveling from New York to England. Her friend, Billy Crocker, has snuck aboard in an attempt to be closer to his love, Hope Harcourt, but he faces competition from Hope's fiancee, the wealthy nobleman Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Meanwhile, notorious gangster (and "Public Enemy 13") Moonface Martin and his sidekick, Erma, have boarded the ship looking for trouble. In a series of comically convoluted stunts involving disguises, dancing sailors, and plain old blackmail, Reno and Moonface Martin get together to try to help Billy win Hope's heart once and for all.
