About Kid Rock

The bad boy they call Kid Rock was born Robert James Ritchie, on January 17, 1971. He has been known to blend several oft-believed incompatible musical genres, such as hip-hop, punk rock, and southern rock, together into a style all his own. Sporting a brimmed hat and long hair, Kid Rock cuts a figure difficult to classify, as he strums his guitar and screams like a banshee at the crowd during every Kid Rock concert. His albums Devil Without a Cause, the History of Rock and Cocky, marked his assault on the eardrums of America, and Kid Rock's sudden silhouette became easily recognizable to millions of people . More albums followed and tickets for Kid Rock in concert sold like hotcakes.

His backup band, Twisted Brown Trucker, is an outfit capable of fusing rap, southern rock, country and blues, in a dizzying whorl of noise and harmony. The huge cross-over hit in 2003 with Sheryl Crow called "Picture", cemented his credibility as a performer, and earned him nominations at the CMA's. Each and every Kid Rock concert and Kid Rock tour date is an occasion to cut loose and go crazy, and we have Kid Rock tickets to virtually every stop on his tour!

Kid Rock and Twisted Brown Trucker released Rock N Roll Jesus in October, 2007, and the world is still loving the record three years later. The Kid's most recent release, "Born Free," received major coverage during the 2010 MLB when the title track was used to open each MLB game. According to Rolling Stone Magazine journalist Alan Light "Born Free has the Skynyrd guitar attack, the Leon Russell- style gospel backup singers, some fire-down-below boogie from Rock's Detroit godfather, Bob Seger (who adds his blessing with the piano part on "Collide"). The trippy, pinwheeling guitars of the closing "For the First Time (In a Long Time)" even drift into Grateful Dead territory.
