About Nickelback

Nickelback has come a long way from it's Hersher days back in 1996. Brothers Chad and Mike Kroeger, along with Ryan Peak and former dummer Brandon Kroeger began Nickelback on a whim, releasing albums before they hit gold with the 1998 release, The State. Nickelback tickets became one of the most popular hard rock tickets to buy. Their first two singles, "How You Remind Me" and "Too Bad," swept the nation with a new brand of post-grunge sound. "How You Remind Me" became an instant hit and the No. 1 single on Billboard's Top 100 in 2002 sending droves of fans to buy Nickelback tickets nationwide. It was 2003's release of "Someday" off of The Long Road album that proved Nickelback's staying power; a unique fact about this chart topping hit - it followed the exact same chord progression as "How You Remind Me" and managed to hit No. 6 on U.S. charts! Nickelback tickets were in high demand after the 2005 release of All The Right Reasons, which produced three top ten singles - "Photograph," "Far Away," and "Rock Star." Nickelback, who often reference styles borrowed from early 90's alternative bands, was starting to develop a signature sound rivaling that of Stone Temple Pilots.

After a long string of Nickelback concerts, Nickelback increased the volume and aggression with the 2008 release of Dark Horse. Diverging from Nickelback's norm, Dark Horse is decidedly harder and has skyrocketed to the No. 2 position on the U.S. Billboard top 200. Blender Magazine had this to say about the album - "Chad Kroeger brings his full tonsil-toasting wail to every chorus, and the aura of overstatement helps him translate all-American (North American, that is) daydreams into grandiose power-ballad meatballs." They haven't released any album since No Fixed Address in 2014 that dropped three years after Here and Now. However, you have the chance to see Nickelback live on their new "Feed The Machine Tour" in 2017. This news comes along with a new single and album announcement for 2017!
