Stromae Tour Schedule

Stromae ("Maestro" with the syllables reversed), born Paul Van Haver, is a singer-songwriter from Belgium who achieved critical acclaim in Europe with his No. 1 hit “Alors on danse.” World-renowned celebrities like Anna Wintour and Jean-Claude Van Damme praised the single, which launched Stromae into fame, and he later collaborated with Kanye West on a remix of the single. At the 2010 MTV Europe Music Awards, Stromae was nominated for "Best Dutch and Belgian Act," and in 2011, his first studio album, Cheese won the award for Best Dance Album at the Victoires de la musique. Stromae opened for the Black Eyed Peas in Paris the following year.

Stromae’s second album, Racine Carrée, produced the popular single, “Papaoutai.” He performed the song at Major Lazer's show at Rock en Seine in 2013 to much applause. Stromae’s “Ta fête” even became the official song for the Belgian football selection at the 2014 World Cup. After his U.S. debut on Late Night with Seth Meyers in June 2014, Stromae began touring North America for the first time. His musical style combines that of hip-hop and electronic dance music, attracting the likes of Lorde and Diplo.
