Elvis Costello & The Imposters announced a summer 2017 tour for 20 shows in North America. It starts in June and ends in late July. The summer run is a continuation of their fall 2016 "Imperial Bedroom & Other Chambers Tour" from their 1982 album Imperial Bedroom

About Elvis Costello & the Imposters

Genre-bending, English singer-songwriter Elvis Costello has a knack for showing up in places you wouldn’t expect. Recognized rock royalty on either side of the Atlantic with friends in New York, L.A. and Nashville, there are no limits to Costello’s versatility. From his job as a desk jockey at Elizabeth Arden (memorialized in the song "I’m Not Angry") to dating Liv Tyler’s mom to his Academy Award-nominated collaboration with Alison Krauss and T-Bone Burnett for the film Cold Mountain, Elvis Costello gets around.

With critically acclaimed albums (This Year’s Model, Armed Forces, Get Happy!!, King of America, Imperial Bedroom and Punch the Clock) and popular singles ("Alison," "Veronica," "I Don’t Want to Go to Chelsea," "Oliver’s Army" and "Every Day I Write the Book"), Costello is a one man pop culture wrecking ball. Collaborations with country musician George Jones, jazz musicians Bill Frisell and Costello's wife Diane Krall, Paul McCartney, No Doubt and The Chieftains have allowed Costello to stretch his musical muscles.

In 2003, Costello covered The Clash’s "London Calling" at the Grammy’s with Bruce Springsteen, Steve Van Zandt and Dave Grohl. In 2008, Elvis Costello tickets were red hot when he toured with The Police and was featured on the Fall Out Boy track "What a Catch Donnie." In 2009, Costello was cast as the Shape in the John Mellencamp/Stephen King musical Ghost Brothers of Darkland County, and he played the White House in 2010. He has not dropped an album since 2010, but Elvis Costello continues to perform with The Imposters and tour each year. 2017 is no different, as he's touring this summer as a continuation of their fall 2016 tour "Imperial Bedroom & Other Chambers."
