2018 Oklahoma City Thunder Schedule

The Oklahoma City Thunder were founded in 1967 -- when they were known as the Seattle SuperSonics. The Sonics called Seattle home until 2008, when owner Clay Bennett moved the team to Oklahoma City, and renamed the Sonics the Thunder. The franchise's only NBA championship came in 1979, but Thunder fans are optimistic that the Thunder will bring home the franchise's second NBA championship soon -- and the first championship in Oklahoma City.

Since moving to Oklahoma City and establishing themselves as a new franchise, the Thunder have developed rivalries with the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks -- two local foes and nemeses. The Thunder are also rivals with the Memphis Grizzlies, as the two teams have met in the playoffs in in 2011 and 2013 -- which team team winning a series.

With an exciting young roster, and budding rivalries, the Thunder will provide plenty of wins and entertainment for years to come! Don't miss out on your chance to be there in person -- buy your Thunder tickets at Ticket Liquidator today, and head out to the Chesapeake Energy Arena this season!
