Miley Cyrus is releasing her album Younger Now this fall. Look out for a tour announcement following the album release!

About Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus grew up in Franklin, TN just outside of Nashville. Born Destiny Hope, she was given the nickname smiley as young girl due to her constant smiling. The name was later shortened to Miley and she would later add Cyrus in honor of her late grandfather. The future Disney star moved to Hollywood in 2005, and was quickly signed to Hollywood Records. She released her highly successful debut album, Meet Miley Cyrus, in 2007. The album went quadruple platinum, selling over 4-million units. With smash hits like "See You Again," "7 Things," and "The Climb," Miley Cryus would make plenty of waves in the music industry producing a total five No.1 records on the U.S. Billboard 200 and seven top-ten hits on the U.S. Billboard 100. In 2010, MTV awarded Miley with "Artist of the Year."

As the daughter of famed country singer Bill Ray Cyrus, Miley broke into the family music business with her pop-infused vocals and catchy instrumentals. Her first TV role was "Kylie" on the show Doc which starred her Dad as a Montana doctor who moves to the Big Apple. In just a few short years, Miley managed to rocket herself to superstar status with her split-life role as Hannah Montana on the Hannah Montana show.

Having played with super-cute boy group "The Jonas Brothers" and even created her own YouTube show with best friend Mandy, Miley became America's sweetheart overnight! In addition to her concerts, Cyrus designed her very own clothing line with Max Azria.

Cyrus had a lead role in the Nicholas Sparks book-turned-movie The Last Song alongside Australian co-star Liam Hemsworth. The two fell in love on set and went on to be quickly engaged. With the end of Hannah Montana, Cyrus sought to shake off her youthful appearance and did so in spectacularly controversial fashion. Shocking performances at the MTV Video Music Awards and the MTV Europe Music Awards not only thrust her into the spotlight but also propelled her debut album as Miley Cyrus, the "dirty south hip-hop" record Bangerz, all the way to number one on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart. She then dropped Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz in 2015. In parallel to her quirky, bold transition that included public statements about smoking lots of weed and partying, Hemsworth and Cyrus broke up.

It would be years until Cyrus came back to the public eye with new music. After being a coach on The Voice and cleansing her life and habits, she rekindled the romance with once-fiancé in Liam Hemsworth. Her sister Noah Cyrus also began her career with hit single "Make Me Cry" featuring Labrinth. Miley Cyrus dropped single "Malibu" in May 2017. Expect an album and tour to follow!
