It's December 4, 1956 at Sun Records in Memphis, Tennessee and established musician Carl Perkins is set to record some tracks with a new performer, Jerry Lee Lewis. Meanwhile, Elvis Presley drops in with girlfriend Dyanne, and Johnny Cash has come in to chat with record executive Sam Phillips. The four amazing talents assemble and jam together. Phillips wants to sign Cash to a contract, even though he is already signed to one. One by one, Phillips explains to the audience how he first discovered each performer, and they perform some of their (now) most iconic songs.
