Cher Tour Schedule

Cher's long-awaited world tour, titled Here We Go Again, is back on track and coming to a venue near you! With North American dates starting in January, you won't want to miss this iconic performer.

Nobody can outdo a legend, and a timeless one at that. With a career that spans four decades, Cher's only tell-tale sign is her generous repertoire of music throughout the years. Reinvention was invented by Cher -- before Madonna and Gwen Stefani went through their major transformations, Cher was donning feathers, beads, leather and lace. Cher's rise to stardom was quick, and she has since become one of the most recognizable faces in entertainment history.

Born in California as Cherilyn Sarkisian on May 20, 1946, Cher led a hard childhood. Her aspiring actress mother married 8 times and struggled to survive on the occasional gig. Cher was soon placed in foster care after the divorce of her parents, and she dropped out of school at 16 due to severe dyslexia. Cher met Sonny in 1962 at the famous Aldo's Coffee Shop in Los Angeles while he was working for record producer Phil Spector; the two married soon after. Cher began her career as a backup singer for many of Spector's girl groups, she eventually released singles under the stage names Bonnie Jo Mason, Cherilyn and Cleo during her duet "The Letter" with Sonny; all releases received little attention.

Thier first successful single together "I Got You Babe" would spark the interest of Cher's developing persona. Initially thought of as the lesser half of Sonny and Cher, Cher presented a sharp tongue and cutting edge wardrobe. With her exotic looks, Cher quickly became an icon in fashion and pop culture. Recognizing Sonny and Cher's endearing, comcial and captivating potential, CBS signed the two to The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour for what was slotted to be a short summer run. The show went on to host guests like the Jackson 5 and George Burns and would go on to receive 15 Emmy Awards nominations and an extended 4-year run.

Fame would prove trying on the couple and Sonny and Cher split a few years later. Soon the media was directing all of their attention to Cher- new fans were wondering when Cher tickets would go on sale as her budding solo career was waited patiently in the wings. Cher soon married Gregg Allman of the Allman Brothers Band and released the hit cover "You Really Got a Hold on Me." Sonny and Cher reunited on screen, however, with declining ratings, the Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour got the axe in 1977, two years later Cher divorced Allman.

With disco in full force, Cher would embrace the glow of the mirrored lights with the released on her chart topping single "Take Me Home," which featured Cher in a barely-there Viking outfit. Cher's fashion choices would gain audiences attention. A Cher concert was said to be a spectacle, and Cher tickets were coveted by those in the know. With the death of disco, Cher decided to capitalize on the film industry. In the 80's Cher took on award-winning roles in Silkwood, Mask, The Witches of Eastwick, Suspect and Moonstruck before releasing another chart-topping single, "Take me Home," sparking more Cher concerts in select cities.

Over the next ten years, Cher would go on to release multiple hits including her most successful track to date "The Shoop Shoop Song (It's in His Kiss)." After the release of Love Hurts, one of her biggest-selling albums, Cher tickets went on sale for the Cher Tour - Love Hurts. Cher would collaborate with the likes of Eric Clapton and star in the controversial movie "If These Walls Could Talk."

The late 90's were bittersweet for Cher. Sonny Bono died due to injuries sustained from a 1998 skiing accident, but one of her most successful pop albums to date, "Believe," was released and followed by an equally successful Cher concert series. The single "Believe" set Cher a record for the oldest woman to perform a number one track on the hot 100 singles chart. Needless to say, Cher concert tickets were in high demand that year. Shortly after, she was awarded with the Lifelong Contribution to the Music Industry award at the VMAs. Two years later, her second dance album "Living Proof" was released prompting a string of Cher concerts, dubbed "The Farewell Tour," in 2005. Cher concert tickets sold in record numbers, so much so that the tour was renamed "Never Can Say Goodbye Tour" as many more dates were added.

While working on her 26th album, Cher announced a residency at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. Her contract, signed in 2008 and guaranteed 200 Cher concerts over a span of three years. Cher's 2014 "Dressed to Kill Tour" was her first tour since her residency in Las Vegas ended. She will now be returning to Sin City for "Classic Cher," and fans can expect the same fun, glitzy Cher that they have always loved.

In 2019, Cher tickets are available for a North American tour coming to a city near you!

Cher - Las Vegas Residency

Cher is back in Vegas! In 2018, Cher will start performing all of her hits at Park Theater at Park MGM. This is a scene she's familiar with, as Cher had a residency at Caesar's Place a few years back. The bright lights of Vegas are perfect for one of music's brightest stars.
