The kid they called Usher Raymond began his career by appearing on Star Search in 1992 at the ripe age of 13 years old. He took off from there and never looked back. Taking the crown as king of R&B in the late 1990s with his Billboard-topping hits Nice and Slow, U Remind Me, and U Got It Bad, Usher never fails to deliver the goods.

After Usher’s OMG tour, the last time we saw him was rappelling onto the stage at the Black Eyed Peas bonkers Super Bowl XLV half-time show dressed in Luke Skywalker’s snow gear to perform OMG with will.i.am. At the end of the song he literally jumped about eight feet in the air over will.i.am and landed in a split, a rare feet for anyone, let alone an R&B musician. Usher was recently spotted at Coachella having a dance off with Rhianna, the two of whom, who sources say, may be romantically interested in each other (imagine the dance moves on those babies). Other Usher collabs include his performance with Shakira and Stevie Wonder at Barak Obama’s inauguration celebration, DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love with Pitbull, the Lil Freak video with Niki Minaj, a remix of Justin Bieber’s Somebody to Love and a performance with the Bieb (who he actually signed to his label) and Jaden Smith.
