The Ticket Liquidator Lowdown
  • We are a resale marketplace, not a box office or venue.
  • Tickets may be above face value.

    close

Ticket Liquidator is a nationwide network through which professional companies and trusted individuals resell tickets to events. This means that we don't charge your card, nor do we own, price, or ship the tickets listed for sale on our marketplace. The tickets are owned instead by hundreds of sellers who re-price their tickets based on the popularity of the event and the number of tickets available.
  • Seat numbers are not available for tickets listings.

    close

Ticket sellers don't advertise seat numbers on their listings in order to prevent double-booking specific tickets and overpromising ticket availability. Please note, though, that any tickets purchased through our marketplace are guaranteed to be together unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • All seats are together unless stated otherwise.

    close

We understand that people often attend events with friends or family and want to be located near the ones they love. We therefore guarantee that any tickets purchased from a listing will be together unless explicitly stated otherwise (eg: the seller advertises the tickets as being "piggybacked") or unless the tickets are General Admission. Another rare exception is if a seller notes that certain tickets will be "split" into different consecutive chunks if a customer purchases more than a certain number of them.
  • Tickets are not guaranteed to ship immediately.

    close

The sellers who list tickets on our marketplace access tickets from a variety of sources - venues, fan clubs, event promoters, industry insiders, and even other ticket resellers. Some sellers may have to wait to receive tickets from their supplier due to ticket printing or distribution delays. Please note, though, that delayed delivery does not change the fact that you are guaranteed to receive your tickets by the date of the event once your order is accepted by the seller. Sellers also do their best to advertise expected delivery delays on their listings in order to help you make an informed purchase decision.
  • Ticket prices vary because the sellers do, too.

    close

Ticket Liquidator is a marketplace where professional ticket companies and trusted individuals resell event tickets at a price of their choosing. This means that the prices for tickets on our marketplace will vary depending on the seller’s judgement and the popularity of the event. One seller may list tickets at $50 apiece and another may list tickets in the very same section and row at $35 apiece. It is therefore best to buy tickets based on stated location rather than price, because pricier isn’t necessarily better!
  • A service fee is added to ticket orders at checkout.

    close

The service fee is calculated during checkout and equals 25% of the total price of your tickets. The fee helps Ticket Liquidator recoup its cost for website maintenance, credit card billing security, customer support, and the technological system that allows sellers to list tickets online.
  • Orders are not guaranteed until accepted by the seller.

    close

The sellers who list tickets through Ticket Liquidator have a small window of time during which they're allowed to accept or reject a ticket order placed by a customer. Sellers often list tickets on other websites and they may need some time to make sure the tickets you purchased were not just bought by someone else on another exchange. Please note that our Worry-Free Guarantee does not take effect for ticket purchases until a seller officially accepts an order and confirms that it will be fulfilled. Almost every order for tickets is accepted (over 99.2% of them!) but, if there’s any problem, we’ll be sure to let you know ASAP and help you get new tickets.
  • All sales are final!

    close

Tickets are time-sensitive items whose price rises and falls over time and whose value expires following the event date. This means that sellers would be taking a risk by allowing customers to return tickets that might never be resold or otherwise resold for the same value as what you paid. The ticketing industry has therefore adopted an “all sales are final” policy that disallows ticket return. If, however, you find yourself unable or unwilling to use your tickets, you can always check out our consumer seller program!
  • Are you buying tickets as a gift for someone?

    close

Tickets aren’t guaranteed to ship immediately after you purchase them, so, as a result, you may not receive your tickets in time for a special gift-giving occasion. If that’s a concern, you can click here, fill out our form, and we will create a gift note that you can give your gift recipient so they have something to open on their special day! The gift note could be customized for your event type (holiday, birthday, "thank you" - etc.) and would be delivered via email as a PDF document within one business day.

U2 Concert Tickets

U2 Abandons Club Record

Despite rumors that U2 was working with Lady GaGa producer Red One, will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas and David Guetta on a club record, the band has confirmed that they are no longer involved with any of these producers. In a recent interview, the band acknowledged that their sessions with Danger Mouse had been productive and that once the 360 tour is over they plan on focusing on that batch of material. Maybe they canned the club album after hearing of Madonna's forthcoming record with David Guetta. Whatever happened, the 360 tour is winding down and great seats for U2 concerts are still available for their last dates.

U2 "Claw" for Sale

The now infamous "claw" that U2 had designed and built as their unique stage for the U2 360 tour is going on sale at the end of the tour. The band actually had three of the stages built and plan to sell them to a city or venue that can make use of the structures for future performances. Slight re-engineering of the structures will be required in order to provide a roof for outdoor concert venues. U2 concert tickets are still available for the remaing U2 dates.

U2 Tops Forbes List

The U2 tour schedule is winding down with only two months worth of U2 concerts left after the two-year-long 360 tour put U2 over ther top as the highest grossing musical act of all time. Unsurprisingly, U2 were crowned the Highest-Paid Musicians on Forbes annual list for the second year in a row, earning $195 million and annihilating the second place surprise contender Bon Jovi by over $70 million. U2 concert tickets are still available at substantially lower prices.

Spider-Man Finally Debuts

With all the drama surrounding Bono and The Edge's foray into Broadway musicals, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark has finally opened to tepid and unflattering reviews, but it appears that U2's frontman and guitarist have avoided complete humiliation. Original music for the show occasionally features Bono and The Edge on the soundtrack supplemented by members of the cast from the musical and leans toward camp and bombast, in pure U2 fashion.

U2 Opens North American Tour in Denver

After the successful South American leg and Mexican stops on the U2 360 tour, the boys from Dublin arrived in Denver to kick-off their series of shows throughout North America. The band opened with Even Better Than the Real Thing and closed after two encores with Moment of Surrender. Bono and Co. also made time to stop by the 2011 Billboard Awards to pick up their award for top touring artist. Black Eyed Peas mastermind will.i.am presented them with the award. Bono Pow Wows with Felipe Calderon

Simply put, no other rock band in history has as much pull as U2. Since 1984's Band Aid concert when U2 raised money for Ethiopian famine relief, the band have used their enormous popularity to support activist causes. They've worked with Amnesty International to free prisoners of conscience, campaigned for debt forgiveness with Jubilee 2000 and participated in Project Red and the One Campaign to ameliorate global poverty to name a few of their consciousness-raising projects. Bono has met with the global and religious leaders to discuss violence, poverty, internecine strife and global warming. During the most recent U2 tour dates in Mexico, Bono sat down with Mexican President Felipe Calderon. One wonders if Calderon had U2 tickets to see the band on their 360 tour.

U2 Takes the Record

Anyone who’s ever seen U2 in concert can confirm that they are one of the best live acts around. It’s no wonder that they just surpassed the Rolling Stones as the highest grossing tour of all time. Now that the boys from Dubin are finished with revisions on Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, they are ready to rev up the engine full-throttle on the U2 tour machine. About U2

U2 formed in Dublin, Ireland on 25 September 1976. The origin of the name "U2" is unknown, but a famous 1960s surveillance plane, the Lockheed U-2, may have been the initial inspiration. Dublin punk Steve Averill claims that the name was chosen by the band from an exclusive list created by him and Adam Clayton. In a 2002 Larry King interview, Bono said "I don't actually like the name U2...I honestly never thought of it as 'you too'."

On Saint Patrick's Day,1978, U2 won a talent show in Limerick, Ireland winning 500 pounds plus funding toward recording a demo tape- imagine how much those U2 tickets are worth today! This was an important milestone for the group and they recorded their very first demo tape at Keystone Studios, Dublin, in April 1978. U2's first EP, Three, was released in September 1979 and went to the top of the Irish charts. A couple months later, U2 tickets sold like made for a U2 concert in London; by February 1980, their second single "Another Day" was released in Ireland.

Within the next few years the band transformed from a largely improvisational and moody unit to one of the most polished and well-known rock bands the world has ever seen. U2 tickets began selling at large indoor arenas in the USA and followed the same pattern in Europe soon after. In the mid-80s, The Unforgettable Fire was released, containing the iconic track, "In the Name of Love". Between 1986 and 1989 they released their Joshua Tree and Rattle and Hum albums, which featured the searing hits "Where the Streets Have No Name", "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For", and "With or Without You", as well as "When Love Comes to Town", the excellent bluesy number, performed with BB King.

Through the rest of the 90s and into the millennium, U2 have maintained their status as one of the top rock bands in the world with U2 tickets selling out for all U2 concerts. They have continued to mutate and adapt to the changing musical environment while retaining their originality and verve. Bono's contribution to African relief charities and his tireless devotion to all kinds of worthy causes has brought the band into the spotlight for more than one reason.
