About the Show:

Traces is a hybrid performance, combining traditional circus and acrobatic forms (diabolo yo-yos, leaping through hoops, man-powered wheels, springboards) with street acts (skateboarding, basketball), while also incorporating elements of theatre and modern dance. It is a visually stunning, poetic, and energetic spectacle that both inspires awe and provokes contemplation. It truly explores the capabilities and tests the limits of human movement and exploits its power to convey concepts and emotions. Plot Synopsis:

Seven people gather in a makeshift shelter that they constructed to protect them from an impending disaster. Inside, they hope to live out what they believe to be their last moments on Earth, and they don't want to leave any regrets behind. Together, they decide that in order to combat the destruction they face is to begin new creations, so they use their own innovative physical expression to do just that. The characters share the memories of their pasts and their individual personalities until they are bonded as one.
