Plot Synopsis:

Jackie and Veronica have been deeply in love ever since junior high. But when Jackie, a former drug dealer, gets out of prison and is on parole finally living clean and sober, the challenge of living with his toxic soul mate, Veronica (still addicted to drugs and alcohol), becomes increasingly hard to bear. Tensions rise even higher when Jackie finds a hat in the apartment that he is sure doesn't belong to him, and he accuses her of cheating. Jackie tries desperately to keep it together with the guidance of his parole officer, Ralph D., but Ralph has got his own domestic problems to worry about.
