The Monkees Concert Tickets |
When the producers of the original boy band The Monkees sold their idea for a television show about a rock band, they had no idea the band would outlive the show. Forty-five years later, The Monkees reunion tour is underway. The power trio of Micky Dolenz, Davy Jones and Peter Tork are together again to bring you deep cuts like I'm a Believer, (I'm Not Your) Steppin' Stone, Daydream Believer, Last Train to Clarksville, and Pleasant Valley Sunday. Over the three-year duration of the TV show, the band wrested control of the songwriting and music from the producers and began to oversee all musical production on their own, rehearsing and recording between takes and over long sleepless nights. During that time, scenes of The Monkees popularity rivaled Beatlemania, with Monkees concert tickets and Monkees tour dates selling out worldwide. The Beatles even invited their touring cousins to party with them when The Monkees visited England. Following in The Beatles footsteps, The Monkees were pioneers of the early music video format and precursors to today’s ‘tween pop superstars of the Disney Channel and Nickelodeon. Nicknamed the “Marx Brothers of Rock” by John Lennon, The Monkees are fun for all ages. Relive Monkee-mania, grab your Monkees tickets now at TicketLiqudator! |
