About the Show:

Tarzan is a musical based on the story Tarzan of the Apes by Edgar Rice Burroughs and the 1999 Disney film that featured voice acting by Tony Goldwyn (Promises, Promises), Minnie Driver (Good Will Hunting), Rosie O'Donnell (Grease), Wayne Knight (Seinfeld), and Glenn Close (Sunset Boulevard). Phil Collins ("Against All Odds"), who wrote music for the film, wrote additional songs for the Broadway musical. The score includes such songs as "Two Worlds," "I Need to Know," and "You'll Be in My Heart."

The cast included Josh Strickland (Vegas - The Show), Jenn Gambatese (All Shook Up), and Shuler Hensley (Young Frankenstein). It played 35 previews and 486 regular performances before closing on July 8, 2007. Since then, several theatre companies in the US and abroad have stages their own interpretations of the show.
