Before the raging success of the Dalton Academy Warblers, a little a cappella group from Indiana University called Straight No Chaser released a 1998 video on YouTube called The 12 Days of Christmas that featured a sample from Toto’s Africa and went viral, acquiring over 12 million hits and netting the group a five-record deal with Atlantic Records in 2006.

Straight No Chaser is comprised of members of the original Indiana University a cappella group of the same name that performed in the video as well as more recent graduates and alumni. The group has released a number of recordings on CD and DVD including covers and Christmas songs. Straight No Chaser tickets for their 2010 75-city Straight No Chaser tour dates were a big hit.

In 2010 the group released Straight No Chaser With a Twist which featured a song with lounge singer extraordinaire Barry Manilow.
