Nuclear Cowboyz 2012, an all-new freestyle motocross (FMX) North American tour, premiered January 13 in Baltimore, Md. A futuristic narrative told through intense freestyle motocross action, the story centers on tribes Metal Mulisha and Soldiers of Havoc fight against the Tempest and Cyborg Army in war-torn Los Angeles in 2150. Think of it as a broadway show on steroids, HGH and andro, featuring flying motorcycles, ridiculous pyrotechnics, insane freestyle gravity-defying stunts, lasers, heavy metal, alternative rock and electronic dubstep music. The 2012 Nuclear Cowboyz tour is traveling all across the United States, leaving a trail of destruction and astonished witnesses at arenas everywhere. This year’s 11-stop Nuclear Cowboyz tour opens at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, and stops in Kansas City, Pittsburgh, Auburn Hills, North Little Rock, Tampa, East Rutherford, Tacoma, Portland and Ontario, Calif. Featuring fire jumps and side-by-side flips, this freestyle display is guaranteed to blow away onlookers. The recently released new Metal Mulisha film titled "Black Friday" shows a glimpse of what’s to come, with a Metal Mulisha rider doing a 190-foot backflip in the film.

Metal Mulisha riders include Jimmy Fitzpatrick, Derek Garland, Ronnie Faisst, Nixey Danielson, and Taka Higashino. The Soldiers of Havoc riders include Myles Richmond, Matt Buyten, Beau Bamburg, Mike Mason, Brody Wilson, Dustin Miller, and Adam Jones. Other athletes on the tour include snowmobiler and Winter X Games medalist Caleb Moore, motocross riders Geoff Aaron and Keith Wineland and quad rider Derek Guetter. Some of the participants also look to compete at X Games 18 and the 2012 Red Bull X-Fighters series.
