New York Rangers Schedule

The New York Rangers are ready to make another run toward the Stanley Cup -- and you can bet that Rangers Stanley Cup playoff tickets at Madison Square Garden will be one of the most in-demand tickets at the world's most famous arena this year. Don't miss out on your chance to see the Rangers take on some of the best teams in the NHL during the Stanley Cup Playoffs -- buy your Rangers playoff tickets today at Ticket Liquidator!

Though the Rangers aren't going to win the Metropolitan division, New York will head to the playoffs once again in 2014, for the fourth consecutive season -- and for the eighth time in nine years. The Rangers have been unable to advance to the Stanley Cup Finals, however, and haven't played for Lord Stanley's Cup since the Rangers last won it all in 1994. With Alain Vigneault now New York's head coach, the Rangers are ready to take the next step, and return to the Stanley Cup Finals.

The Rangers pulled off a bold trade at the NHL's trading deadline, sending captain Ryan Callahan and draft picks to Tampa Bay in exchange for Lightning captain Martin St. Louis. In St. Louis, the Rangers acquired one of the NHL's most prolific goal scorers. St. Louis joined a New York team that features Rick Nash, Mats Zuccarello, Brad Richards and Cam Talbot -- and now with St. Louis in tow, the Rangers are aiming to make a deep run in the Stanley Cup playoffs.

The New York Rangers were founded in 1926, and are one of the NHL's "Original Six" teams, along with the Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Maple Leafs, Boston Bruins, Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks. The Rangers have made 10 Stanley Cup Finals appearances, claiming the Stanley Cup on four occasions -- 1928, 1933, 1940 and 1994. Now going on 20 years since last winning the Stanley Cup, Rangers fans are starved and reaedy to watch the Rangers bring the iconic trophy back to Manhattan.

NHL's realignment hasn't hurt the Rangers' rivalries -- in fact, it's strengthened them. The Rangers share the Metropolitan division with the Philadelphia Flyers, New Jersey Devils, New York Islanders and Washington Capitals -- four of New York's biggest rivals. New York also maintains its rivalry with the Boston Bruins.
