For the fifth time in franchise history, the Minnesota Wild are headed to the Stanley Cup Playoffs! After winning 43 games during the regular season, the Wild clinched a wild card berth and will attempt to upset the Colorado Avalanche in the first round of the NHL playoffs. Don't miss out on your chance to watch Wild history unfold -- buy your playoff tickets today!

Founded in 2000, the Minnesota Wild are one of the youngest franchises in the NHL. Minnesota was awarded an expansion team in 1997, four years after the Minnesota North Stars relocated to Dallas in 1993. The Wild began playing in the NHL in 2000, and made the playoffs in their third-ever season -- advancing all the way to the conference finals.

The Wild haven't been able to take the next step, never advancing past the first round of the playoffs in their three subsequent trips to the playoffs. Wild captain Mikko Koivu and head coach Mike Yeo are ready to take the next step, and lead the Wild deep into the Stanley Cup playoffs -- and bring the Stanley Cup home to Minnesota!
