The injury bug has bitten the Timberwolves over the last two seasons, from Ricky Rubio missing extended time last season to power forward Kevin Love beginning this season with an injury. Once Love returns and is healthy, however, this is one of the most talented teams in the Western Conference, and should be a force for years to come. When Kevin Love came out of UCLA, few could have envisioned how his game not only transferred over successfully to the NBA, but how he quickly became the premier rebounding machine in the entire league and one of the top interior players in the NBA. From the All-Star recognition to an impressive showing in the 3-point contest, few other players in the league can boast the skills and bright future that Kevin Love has in Minnesota. Joining Love in snowy Minnesota last season was Ricky Rubio, the Spanish sensation who engendered comparisons to "Pistol Pete" Maravich with his flashy pinpoint passes while playing on the Spanish National team and in the Spanish professional league at a young age. Unfortunately, Rubio suffered an injury last season, and him and Love have only had a small chance to appear together on the court over the last season. When these two are both healthy and appearing together, they form one of the best young duos in the league. Add to the mix the high-flying Derrick Williams, who came out of Arizona and impressed with his aerial abilities and defensive prowess. Williams is another impressive young player to add to the Timberwolves mix, and this core of young and talented players should make the T-Wolves a contender for years to come. So make sure you get your T-Wolves tickets soon and catch these Timberwolves at the Target Center live!Veteran Coach Rick Adelman has his team ready to play, and he is most likely counting down the days until his team is injury-free and at full force. He's hoping some of the other players, like center Nikola Pekovic can step up in Love's absence. Brandon Roy is also attempting a comeback with the Wolves and if he is anywhere near his former self, he should provide a lift to the Wolves. Even if he isn't 100 percent, his leadership and guidance can only help the T-Wolves, especially Ricky Rubio. The Western Conference is a tough slog, and the Northwest Division is also going to be a fierce battle for these Timberwolves, but they are up to the challenge. Most likely the top team in the Division is going to be the Oklahoma City Thunder, and the Minnesota Timberwolves have their sights set on taking the crown from the Thunder. Even though the Thunder recently traded the bearded one James Harden to the Houston Rockets, they still have the best scorer in the NBA, Kevin Durant and the explosive Russell Westbrook playing alongside him. The Wolves' Love will be looking to hurt the Thunder from the post, and Ricky Rubio will be battling with Westbrook in what will most certainly be a fast-paced and exciting matchup. Besides the Thunder, the Wolves also have to contend with other rivals like the Denver Nuggets and the Utah Jazz within the division. The Timberwolves are much-improved this season, and they will be looking to surprise some people by breaking into the top-8 teams in the West and making the playoffs. Make sure you don't miss out on any of the exciting action in Minnesota, and peruse our large selection of Minnesota Timberwolves tickets and buy yours today! The Timberwolves play home games at the Target Center in Minneapolis. It is a good place to watch a game, and with the Wolves looking like an actual team this season, it looks like a great time to enjoy Timberwolves tickets.
