2014 Brewers Outlook

After a poor 2013, the Milwaukee Brewers have their eyes set on another playoff run in 2014. With superstar Ryan Braun's suspension in the past, Milwaukee is ready to move forward, and bring playoff baseball back to Miller Park.

Milwaukee did not make many moves in the offseason, but the one move the Brewers did make should be an impactful one. Milwaukee signed free agent starting pitcher Matt Garza, who will help solidfy Milwaukee's rotation. Garza spent time with the Chicago Cubs last season, before being traded to the Texas Rangers. All told, Garza went 10-6, with a 3.82 ERA and 1.24 WHIP -- numbers one can expect from a No. 2 starting pitcher. Garza joins a rotation that boasts Yovani Gallardo, Kyle Lohse, Wily Peralta and Marco Estrada -- giving the Brewers one of the better rotation in the NL Central.

Offensively, the Brewers boast what could be one of the National League's most potent lineups. Ryan Braun will shift to right field, allowing slugger Khris Davis to start in left field. 2013's breakout player Carlos Gomez will continue to patrol center field for Milwaukee.

The Brewers have one of baseball's best young shortstops in Jean Segura. Segura was acquired from the Los Angeles Angels in the trade that sent Zack Greinke to Anaheim. Aramis Ramirez, Scooter Gennett and Juan Francisco round out Milwaukee's infield, while the underrated Jonathan Lucroy is slated to be the team's everyday backstop.

All told, the Brewers should be in playoff contention in 2014. Milwaukee fans should be sure to head out to Miller Park in 2014, to support what should be one of baseball's most interesting and exciting teams. Don't wait any longer, buy your Brewers tickets at Ticket Liquidator and head out to Miller Park in 2014!
